This is a hand-made accordion book, printed in archival pigment on cold press watercolor paper. It’s a continuous landscape drawing – over seven feet long – with a chase scene playing out through the landscape. The original drawing was done several years ago for a gallery show (more about the project’s history is at the blog) but it took a while to figure out a way to make a workable edition.

Box Landscape with Chase Scene originally came in three signed and numbered (or lettered) editions. There is an unbound edition of 250 (pictured top left in the thumbnail) for $40; a numbered edition of 45 bound in salmon-colored book-cloth with a screenprinted cover (top right) for $100 (the numbered copies are sold out, but a few artist proof copies are still available); and there was a lettered edition (15 copies, lettered A-O) bound in violet-gray bookcloth (bottom right) with screenprinted covers which each have an extra ‘page’ at the end of the sequence, hand-drawn by me, unique to each copy. The lettered edition was $140, but is now sold out.
