XLAOOC, or Extra Large and Out of Context is a show of 11 cartoonists’ original art, scanned and printed at giant scale in editions of three. Most prints are roughly 32” x 44” or so. BIG. Every detail, every gesture. Archival pigment on watercolor paper. And it’s a benefit. Proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders and the ACLU — I’m taking a break from helplessly watching the chaos unfold for a minute and trying to raise a little money for some of the remarkable people who are trying to do something about it all — to help, to resist, to heal. Please join me. The work in this show is stunning. One copy of each edition will be on display and up for silent auction at Lula, two copies will be auctioned online. The auctions will close after 10 days, ending at 6pm April 4, 2025.

The event is also the book release party for my new book TONGUES Vol I. I’ll be presenting the book in conversation with Lula’s award winning chef, my dear friend… and former boss, Jason Hammel.
